These workhorses feature a CNC precision machined stainless tool steel body and parts with carbide inserts. Hand assembled and finished in Walla Walla, Washington in small batches, a limited supply.
The file guide is a very handy high quality tool that allows the maker to get the best fit possible between the blade shoulder and guard. It also gives great plunge grinds so the left and right side of the blade are exact. I use mine for many other things including “framed” handle bowies, daggers and all size blades from slip joint pen blades up to broad blades that are 2 1/2” wide. With a clamp thickness up to 3/4", it handles most any job.
The carbides do not grind away when held right against the abrasive belts so they last many years. We can refurbish them if they ever need it for a modest fee and shipping.
Thanks for considering our product.
